What is it?
The Subpac M2X is a wearable device that allows you to feel sound in a non-traditional way. The M2X is perfect for listening to music or feeling sound whilst gaming. It uses haptic, proprioception and bone conduction technology to deliver bass frequencies between 1Hz and 200Hz directly to the body, allowing the low-end to be felt rather than heard.
The Subpac series technology allows users to “feel the sound”, whether it be by listening to or making music, watching a movie or whilst gaming. It gives users with hearing deficits the ability to fully immerse themselves in the sound/game/movie by allowing them to feel the vibrations that the sound produces. This form of sensory substitution can play an important role in improving the user’s mental wellbeing as it can provide similar benefits to listening to music. Those being; elevated moods, reduced stress, relieves symptoms of depression and stimulates memories.
