Trivida is a new wheel for manual wheelchairs which makes it feasible to transfer side to side from the chair in a barrier-free fashion. The wheel’s german triatec technology makes it possible to separate the upper portion of the wheel, which facilitate safe, obstacle-free lateral transfers between the wheelchair and an external surface, such as a bed, toilet, sofa, car seat or stairlift.
People with upper extremity weakness or limitation may need assistance, but do not necessarily require to be lifted. Trivida wheel offers mobility for accessible and barrier-free life to wheelchair users in everyday life.
