Privacy Policy

Eazilee is built for people who deserve straightforward answers — and that includes how we handle your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
What we collect
Search queries — When you use the AI Guide, your description is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate recommendations. We cache a normalised version of this query (a hashed summary) so repeat searches return faster. We do not store your raw free-text description against any personal identifier.
Experience submissions — When you share an experience via the Share Story form, we store: the tool name, your condition or situation, your star rating, your review text, and optionally a display name. We do not require an email address or account to submit.
Analytics — We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people use Eazilee. This includes pages visited, buttons clicked, and general usage patterns. GA4 uses cookies and collects anonymised data including approximate location (country/city level), device type, and session information.
What we don't collect
- We do not require you to create an account or log in.
- We do not store personal health records or medical history.
- We do not collect payment information — Eazilee is free to use.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use your data to serve targeted advertising.
Third-party services
Eazilee uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:
Anthropic
Processes your search queries via the Claude API to generate tool recommendations. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed through their API. View their privacy policy →
Supabase
Stores experience submissions (reviews) in a PostgreSQL database hosted in Australia. Supabase's privacy policy applies. View their privacy policy →
Vercel
Hosts the Eazilee platform. Vercel may log request metadata (IP addresses, request paths) for security and performance purposes. View their privacy policy →
Google Analytics (GA4)
Tracks anonymised usage patterns. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. View their privacy policy →
Data retention
Experience submissions are retained for 3 years from the date of submission, after which they may be anonymised or deleted.
Recommendation cache entries (hashed query + results) are retained indefinitely to improve response times, but contain no personal identifiers.
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics 4 default settings (up to 14 months for user and event data).
Your rights
You have the right to request deletion of any experience submission you have made. To do so, email us at privacy@eazilee.com with a description of the submission and approximate date.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you may also have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, and portability of your data.
We will respond to privacy requests within 30 days.
Cookies
Eazilee uses cookies for Google Analytics and to remember temporary session data (such as your recommendation results). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies beyond GA4.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect how some features work.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
